Andile Neo Rakosa, professionally known as, 1am.chef is an Afrohouse & 3 Step music producer and DJ, born and bred in Johannesburg West, South Africa. 1am.chef’s journey in music began in the church from a young age, playing keyboard and drums and later developing his foundation in sound engineering. After high school, he debuted with his album, ‘RA KOSHA’ in March 2025. Following the success of the album debut in 2025, 1am.chef performed live at: TuksFM Balcony Sessions x NERUDA:Live in Pretoria; and The Horizon Block in Kimberley. In 2026, he has since collaborated with Listen 2 Youth in Bloemfontein - further cementing another milestone in his emerging career.
